BIO.

CRAFTED FROM HALF OF A SINGLE DROP OF BHAAL'S DIVINE GORE, Puck was born to kill his bloodtwin—sacrificing them in his Father's unholy name. In doing so, he would fulfill his destiny and become the Lord of Murder's most beloved son, His CHOSEN.But the Lord of Murder made a mistake. In splitting himself in half, in creating two halves of the same drop of blood, he spread himself too thin. He gave his son the mind of a murderer, the instincts of a predator, but he neglected the most damning aspect of all- the heart. The hole left where it should have been was then filled with love. Love for his foster parents, who taught him how to be gentle & kind, and love for his twin, who taught him all else he ever knew.

PERSONALITY.

Puck is a man of extremes and contradictions. He will say all the right things then do all the wrong ones. He always tries, but sometimes it is not enough. He is impulsive and violent. He is fond of the macabre.
He wears his heart on his sleeve, and he is NOT a good liar. He would never try to be one, either. When he says something, he means it. But he is fickle and very impressionable. He may not mean what he said for very long.
Then of course, above all these things, he is gentle, and he is kind.

Coming of age, one would sacrifice the other as an offering to their divine Father, becoming his Chosen. However, having already done her time child-rearing, Lavinia discarded the wretched gorelings on her own daughter's doorstep, altering their fates forevermore.}CHILDHOOD.
_{Rosalind and Charmian Darlington adored the two siblings, raising them to be kind & gentle. Though opposite in every way, Puck & Iago were inseparable, and they loved each other more than anything. Their childhood was innocent and free of Bhaal's influence—mostly. They did not make friends easily, primarily only having one another. They were considered odd and slightly dangerous by other children's parents. For the first several years of his life, Puck rarely spoke at all, relying on Iago to translate for him. They always knew what he was trying to say. When he did speak, he was soft-spoken and incredibly shy. He would often be found trailing after his twin, clutching their hand as tightly as he could.Their mother, Rosalind, was a Cleric of Ilmater. In admiration for her, Iago attempted to learn her craft as a healer. However, no matter how hard they tried, they could never master it. Any healing spell they cast merely backfired and shocked their own palms. One night, when Puck and Iago were still young, Puck was suddenly riddled with pain so terrible he caught a high fever. Wanting to take care of their brother, Iago attempted to heal him with magic. As always, the magic backfired, but this time was different. Rather than shock Iago, the spell accelerated the rate at which the pain shot through Puck's body. He grew a foot taller, and a reptilian tail formed in his lower back. Black claws jut from his fingers and his canine teeth grew into fangs. His strength increased tenfold. From that night on, Puck always felt like there was something sharp growing inside his spine.Their father, Charmian, was a Paladin of Devotion. He swore to uphold the tenets of honesty, courage, compassion, honor, and duty. These values shaped young Puck's morality, and the boy aspired to become a Paladin like his father. A powerful dragonborn, Charmian taught the boy the significance of knowing one's own strength in order to not only protect others but to avoid accidentally hurting them as well. He taught him to be careful, tender, and most importantly, a little gentleman. Eager to be like his father, Puck tried his best to embody these qualities. His follow-through, however, was inconsistent. Having always been such a sweet boy, Puck startled his parents with sudden bouts of cruelty that he never seemed fully aware of committing, especially toward small creatures. He played too rough, more like a predator on the prowl than a child playing tag.}

BABY'S FIRST MURDER.
_{Puck does not remember much about the night his parents died. He and Iago were on the cusp of their teen years. He remembers the smoke, the fear, his twin crying his name. He remembers standing outside as the fire consumed their house from the inside out. Iago told him their parents died in the fire. Puck forced himself to believe them, but he always knew that wasn't quite right.It was true that their bodies had burned in the fire, but their parents were dead long before turning to ash. They had both been stabbed to death with one of the knives found in their own kitchen. The fire started spontaneously when Iago attempted to heal their mother to no avail. It was meant to be a whole-family massacre, but Iago cried out for their twin as pale hands held a blade to their throat, and Puck's brotherly instincts kicked in. The killer failed to take Iago's life that night. Puck saved them, and they saved him, dragging each other out of the burning house. In one hand, Puck clutched Iago's so tightly he thought their fingers would break, and in the other, he held a bloodied knife his twin gently pried from his grasp when he wasn't looking.}STREET RAT ERA.
